The Space Washer is a precision-machined surgical stainless steel spacer designed for Ilizarov external fixation systems and limb-reconstruction assemblies. It maintains precise spacing, adjusts rod heights and bridges minor gaps between rings, plates and wire fixators to support rigid load distribution across circular fixator frames.
The Space Washer acts as an accurate, rigid spacer between structural components within circular Ilizarov frames, including rings, post units, hinges and wire-fixation bolts. Standardized thicknesses of 2 MM, 3 MM and 4 MM allow fine adjustment of frame geometry and structural hardware offsets.
Manufactured in-house using high-precision CNC machinery from surgical-grade stainless steel, each washer is held to strict thickness tolerances. Consistent thickness helps stacked or bilateral washers maintain parallel frame alignment without unintended angular distortion.
A smooth, burr-free surface fits flush against mating surfaces and supports repeated load-bearing use. The washer is corrosion-resistant and compatible with repeated steam autoclave sterilization cycles.
For OEM and private-label partners, the LZ-WS-SS product line can be supplied unbranded or custom laser-marked with size and batch codes.
